Self excursion weekend: 6-7 March 2021

The Self Excursion weekend is one of the four options to choose from seen that Run the Karoo will not be able to take place on scheduled 5-6 February date. All guests will stay in rooms and luxury tents therefor these weekends will be limited to a certain amount of runners. (First come first serve basis)

The weekend will entail guest farm room or luxury tented accommodation at Fairview farm, merchandise from your Run the Karoo entry, all meals, water point parcels, well marked routes and route maps. You can enjoy the beautiful karoo night sky, plenty of fresh farm air and a large bonfire in the evenings after your run.

The weekend’s schedule will work as follow:

Saturday 6 March
14:00-18:00 Arrive, check into your tent or room.
14:00-19:00 You’re welcome to go for Day 1’s run anytime between mentioned time slots
19:00 – Dinner

Sunday 7 March
06:00-08:00 Breakfast
07:00-12:00 Enjoy your run anytime between mentioned time slots
12:00-14:00 Lunch

Beverages will be available to purchase throughout the weekend. All covid-19 Protocols will be followed and implemented.

If you would like to book this package, your entry fee will go towards the booking. If you choose this option you will be emailed the relevant information on accommodation and extra cost should there be any.
